Glimpse ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our micro-journal mobile application ("Glimpse" or the "App").

The short version: Your journal entries and personal data stay on your device. We don't collect, store, or have access to your journal content.

Information We Don't Collect

Glimpse is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect:

• Your journal entries or any content you create
• Personal information such as your name, email, or contact details
• Location data
• Photos or images you add to entries
• Device identifiers for tracking purposes

Data Storage

All your data, including journal entries, images, mood data, and settings, is stored locally on your device. This means:

• Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it
• We have no servers that store your personal information
• We cannot access, read, or recover your journal entries
• If you delete the app, your data is permanently removed from your device

iCloud Backup

If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, your Glimpse data may be included in your device backup. This backup is managed by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy practices. You can manage your iCloud Backup settings through your device's Settings app.

App Security

Glimpse offers optional PIN protection to add an extra layer of security to your journal. This PIN is stored securely on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

In-App Purchases

Glimpse offers optional premium features through in-app purchases. These transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled.

Analytics

We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how features are used and to improve the app. This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally.

We may collect:

• General app usage patterns

We do not collect:

• The content of your journal entries
• Your photos or images
• Any data that could identify you personally

We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. No personal identifiers are tracked, and data cannot be linked back to individual users.

Third-Party Services

Glimpse integrates with the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store - For processing premium subscriptions, governed by Apple's privacy policy
• TelemetryDeck - For anonymous, privacy-focused analytics. No personal data is shared or stored.

Children's Privacy

Glimpse does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences and does not require any personal information to use.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

Your Rights

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can:

• Export your data at any time using the PDF export feature (Premium)
• Delete individual entries within the app
• Delete all your data by uninstalling the app
